Every day there is progress in the fight against cancer with the develompent of new diagnostic tools, treatments, therapies and approaches. Much of this progress is the result of clinical trials that test the safety and effectiveness of new or modified treatments in cancer patients using new drugs, unique approaches to surgery and radiation therapy, or other various combinations of treatments.

At Cancer Centers of Floida, we play an active role in advancing cancer care by leading and participating in many of these trials. Not only does this advance progess and help find better ways to treat cancer, but it gives many of our patients the opportunity to receive newly-developed treatments or investigational drugs not yet available outside of the study.
